Michael Hampleman is a lifelong Southern Illinois resident. While at Southern Illinois University School of Law, Michael remained committed to the hard-working people of Southern Illinois working with various law offices and political campaigns. Michael was selected to the school’s trial team due to his abilities to excel in the courtroom and advocate for clients. Because of this, Michael chose to volunteer at the Jackson County Public Defender’s office where he gained extensive experience with courtroom proceedings under Illinois Supreme Court Rule 711, which allows a senior law student to practice law under the direction of a licensed attorney.

Michael gained valuable experience working at various long-standing Southern Illinois law firms in conducting legal research, legal analysis, and handling general client matters regarding civil litigation. He also gained an extensive understanding in the fields of business law, real estate, and assisted in complicated business transactions ranging in business transactions from $100,000 to $44,000,000.
